Directed by Josh Safdie, "Marty Supreme" was co-written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, who also penned "Uncut Gems" and "Good Time." The film is slated for a December 25 release in North America. Its impressive ensemble cast also includes Odessa A'zion, Fran Drescher, Gwyneth Paltrow, rapper Tyler the Creator, and "The Funeral" director Abel Ferrara.

Set in 1953, "Marty Supreme" features Chalamet as a character loosely based on legendary table tennis player Marty Reisman. While the story is entirely fictional and plot details remain under wraps, set photos confirm that Chalamet's Marty will embark on a romance with Paltrow's character, a movie star. The film reportedly carries a production budget of $90 million.
