TT Games made a major announcement during Gamescom's Opening Night Live event, officially revealing their new title, "Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight". The game is set to feature an expansive open-world Gotham City, allowing players to freely drive the Batmobile and explore the entire metropolis, promising a distinct experience from previous LEGO games.
Developed by TT Games, the acclaimed studio behind "Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga", the new "Lego Batman" installment will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game's combat system draws heavy inspiration from the "Batman: Arkham" series, reimagining numerous iconic characters and settings from comics and films in signature LEGO style.

The narrative of "Legacy of the Dark Knight" begins with a young Bruce Wayne's training, as he recruits a host of familiar allies to fight alongside him, including Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. The rogues' gallery is equally impressive, featuring classic adversaries such as the Joker, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Ra's al Ghul, and Bane.

Following a multi-year hiatus since "Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga", "Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight" is poised to meet player expectations and become a new milestone for the beloved LEGO series.
