Ray Porter, the actor who voiced the villain Darkseid in "Zack Snyder's Justice League," is confirmed to return to the DC Universe, but this time embodying another iconic antagonist.

According to a press release from DC Comics, Porter has joined the Penguin Random House Audio adaptation of the classic comic "Kingdom Come," where he will portray Superman's arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

The "Kingdom Come" audiobook, slated for release on November 18, 2025, is adapted by Dirk Maggs, renowned for his critically acclaimed BBC radio dramas and audiobooks.

The original "Kingdom Come," launched in 1996, was a collaboration between writer Mark Waid and artist Alex Ross, widely hailed as a cornerstone of DC Comics history. The story is set in a near future where the new hero Magog publicly kills the Joker in retaliation for a tragedy at the Daily Planet, igniting an out-of-control war between heroes and villains. Upon its release, "Kingdom Come" garnered immense praise and remains a highly regarded work by fans and critics alike.

Now, with Ray Porter transforming into Lex Luthor for the "Kingdom Come" audiobook, fans will once again hear him breathe life into a classic DC character, extending his connection to the DC Universe in a brand-new form.
