As many are aware, "Avengers: Doomsday," slated for a December 18 Christmas release next year, is expected to introduce the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Six ultimate villain: Doctor Doom, reportedly portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. But what comes after Doom's reign? Who will be the next major antagonist? Renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman recently revealed potential candidates on his Patreon page.

Richtman claims that Marvel has already mapped out storylines for the famous "X-Men" comic book villains Apocalypse and Mister Sinister, positioning them as key characters for development beyond Phase Six. While casting has not yet begun, some preferred actors are reportedly in mind, though Richtman did not disclose any names. Previously, rumors also suggested that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was keen on Mister Sinister serving as the primary antagonist in the first new "X-Men" film, indicating Marvel's potential urgency to introduce the character to audiences.

In the same report, Richtman also shared some non-Marvel news: Amy Adams, who was confirmed last month to join the "Star Wars" universe in the new spin-off film "Star Wars: Starfighter," will portray a Jedi Knight. However, her role is not extensive, likely a brief cameo appearance.
