The highly anticipated "The Devil Wears Prada" sequel, which has recently seen a flurry of set photos leaked to the media, is reportedly adding another major star to its cast: Lady Gaga. Sources indicate that Gaga carved out time during her concert schedule to film her scenes, with sightings of her already on set in Milan. However, her role is expected to be minor, most likely a brief cameo rather than a significant character.

David Frankel returns to direct the follow-up, with Aline Brosh McKenna once again penning the screenplay. The film sees the return of original cast members Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, and Stanley Tucci. New additions to the ensemble include Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, and Kenneth Branagh, who is set to portray Miranda Priestly's new husband.

The sequel's plot is rumored to center on Miranda and Blunt's character, Emily. Miranda's career faces a downturn amid the decline of traditional publishing, forcing her to seek assistance from her former employee, Emily. Now a high-ranking executive at a luxury brand company, Emily holds the key to the advertising funds Miranda desperately needs. The sequel is currently slated for a May 1, 2026 release.
