American toy brand Super7, under its "Toho ULTIMATES!" series featuring Toho monsters, has announced its latest product based on the 90s video game "Super Godzilla": "SpaceGodzilla (Super Godzilla 16 Bit)". With a suggested retail price of US$95.00, it is currently available for pre-order on the SUPER7 official website and is expected to be released in December 2025!
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System game "Super Godzilla," released in 1993 and in North America in 1994, allowed players to control Godzilla, smashing through obstacles and defeating enemies. In the game, the mutated form enhanced by King Ghidorah's cells—Super Godzilla (also known as Chō Gojira)—possessed immense attack power; SpaceGodzilla, who appeared in "Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla," was designed based on this original concept.
