Japanese high-end statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Ultimate Diorama Masterline" series officially unveiled its latest product yesterday (10th), "Guts VS Grunbeld (Apostle Form)", from the dark fantasy manga Berserk by Japanese manga artist Kentaro Miura! Shipping is scheduled to begin from February to May 2027, with a suggested retail price of 379,390 JPY (tax included).
This piece is based on the powerful scene from Berserk manga Volume 27, depicting Guts in his Berserker Armor confronting Grunbeld, who has transformed into a fire dragon. Standing approximately 58 cm tall, its total length reaches an astonishing 99 cm! The colossal body of the fire dragon exudes an overwhelming sense of weight, with its rough skin texture, red crystals covering its body, and the visible human facial contours of Grunbeld on its head, creating a strong visual impact!
On the other hand, Guts, though relatively miniature in size as he confronts the dragon, is sculpted with incredible detail: the sharp lines of his armor, his fiercely billowing black cape, his distinctive helmet with glowing red eyes, and his Dragon Slayer sword stained with blood, all rendered with high sculptural prowess!
▼ Thanks to the built-in LED illumination mechanism, not only do the crystals on Grunbeld's body glow, but when lit, the entire diorama appears engulfed in the flames of battle, creating an incredibly immersive experience!
▼ The diorama also features the "Spirit Tree Forest" engulfed in flames, fallen giant trees, and magic-driven golems.
▼ Prime 1 Studio also announced that customers who purchase the "UPMBR-20DXS" and "UPMBR-21S" statues through their official store will receive a "Patron Bonus" (パトロンボーナス特典): the "Berserker Armor (Pre-Equipped)" version, allowing collectors to fully appreciate this cursed artifact as it quietly awaits the restart of its destiny.
