Japanese company SHINE previously launched the "Humidifying King" series of Godzilla merchandise in 2017 and 2020, which created a buzz at the time due to its adorable design and creative concept. Now, several years later, both products have finally announced the release of their improved versions, Humidifying King Godzilla [Revised] and Humidifying King Burning Godzilla [Revised], set to be released in late November 2025.
The Humidifying King Godzilla [Revised] features a classic design based on its appearance in 1992's "Godzilla vs. Mothra," recreating the pose of spitting its heat ray with a cute, chibi-style, low-head-to-body ratio. The product uses ultrasonic humidifying mist, combined with LED lighting effects to transform the mist into Godzilla's signature "atomic breath." The other model, Burning Godzilla [Revised], not only uses transparent materials and paintwork to depict its scorching skin, but also features LED lights in its eyes and body to illustrate its glowing state.
In addition to basic humidification functions, both humidifiers also feature automatic shut-off when water runs out, continuous/intermittent spray mode switching, playback of in-movie background music, Godzilla's roar, and volume adjustment. For the revised version, the power supply has been changed to a more convenient USB power source, and the power of the "atomic breath (mist)" has also been enhanced.
