"Marty Supreme" is directed solely by Josh Safdie, who co-wrote the script with Ronald Bronstein, his collaborator on "Uncut Gems" and "Good Time." The film is slated for a North American release on December 25. The ensemble cast also features Odessa A'zion, Fran Drescher, Gwyneth Paltrow, rapper Tyler the Creator, and "The Funeral" director Abel Ferrara.

"Marty Supreme" is set in 1953, with Chalamet portraying a character inspired by the life of legendary table tennis player Marty Reisman. While the narrative is entirely fictional and plot details remain under wraps, set photos have confirmed a romance between Chalamet's Marty and a film star portrayed by Paltrow. With a reported production budget of $90 million, the film marks one of the largest investments in A24 Films' history.
