Gundam GQuuuuuuX "HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ)" Product Information Revealed: Features a MA Form Transformation Mechanism Not Seen in the Series!

The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, known for its highly diverse 1/144 scale Gunpla 'HG (High Grade)' series, has announced the latest product from the anime 'Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX', the "HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ)", slated for release in June 2026.

Appearing in the world of 'GQuuuuuuX', the ORX-139 Hambrabi is a prototype transformable mobile suit developed by the Earth Federation Forces' Gusta Research Institute after the One Year War. Unlike the Hambrabi that appeared in the main timeline's 'Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam', this machine's design has been significantly revamped by designers Ikuto Yamashita and Kim Se-jun. Due to the divergent outcomes of the war, its performance and completeness are inferior to its main timeline counterpart. In particular, the transformation system, due to the immaturity of "magnetic coating" technology, resulted in significantly delayed transformation times, and its transformed state never even appeared in the series.

The "HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ)" is produced using Bandai's latest color separation and part division technology, meticulously recreating the anime's slender and sharp body, massive skirt armor, two fixed beam rifles mounted on the back, and wing designs with precise parts. It features flexible articulation designed to reproduce its combat poses from the series. The head's mono-eye camera is movable, and it also incorporates a transformation mechanism to recreate its MA (Mobile Armor) form, which never appeared in the show. Its armaments include a large beam rifle and the special weapon "Sea Serpent", which can be posed in its firing state.
