In addition to "Ra's al Ghul," Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY, under its popular MAFEX action figure line, has simultaneously unveiled another new product themed after the comic "Batman: Hush"—the "BATMAN (DAMAGE Ver.)" action figure, with a reference price of 14,080 JPY and scheduled for release in September 2026!
"Batman: Hush" is a storyline written by Jeph Loeb with pencils by legendary Korean-American comic artist Jim Lee, which ran from 2002 to 2003. The story revolves around Batman's investigation into the schemes of a mysterious villain known as "Hush," who manipulates many of Batman's arch-nemeses, plunging the Dark Knight into a state of crisis.
This "BATMAN (DAMAGE Ver.)" stands approximately 16 cm tall and appears to be a modified version based on the previously released "No.105 Batman". The sculpt faithfully reproduces his lean, muscular physique. The cape is made of tailored fabric to recreate a tattered edge effect and features embedded wires along the sides, allowing for various dynamic poses. The most significant change this time is the addition of three slash wounds on the left and right shoulder areas, depicting him in the midst of a fierce battle! Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands. In addition to the previous version's constipated expression and gritted-teeth expression, a new open-mouthed head sculpt is included. Weapons include two types of Batarangs, two types of grappling claws, and a newly added rapier. It can be displayed with the simultaneously announced Ra's al Ghul to recreate their combat scenes!
