Another project revealed is a "Sonic the Hedgehog" universe spinoff. While Paramount/Skydance did not disclose the official title, they described it as a major blockbuster set within the "Sonic the Hedgehog" world, scheduled for December 22, 2028. This is confirmed to be a separate project from "Sonic the Hedgehog 4," which was previously set for a March 19, 2027 release.
In addition to these new releases, Paramount/Skydance also plans a North American theatrical re-release of "Top Gun" on May 13 next year, celebrating the iconic film's 40th anniversary.
