The legendary tokusatsu series "Super Sentai" is officially wrapping up its nearly half-century run after the conclusion of "First Sentai Fivebeasts." But don't fret, because the official announcement also dropped news of a brand-new tokusatsu series initiative: "PROJECT R.E.D." And kicking things off as the first installment? None other than Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity!
Today (12/4), the official reveal of the latest visual unexpectedly showcased not just the previously announced "red" hero, but also "silver" and "gold" versions! Fans are absolutely buzzing with excitement.
The two new promotional visuals unveiled simultaneously are themed in silver and gold, respectively. They're packed with metallic flair and each one makes a serious statement.
The silver visual features the character standing alone in the rain, with the word "Jouchaku" (Vaporize) written above. The gold version shows the character with hands raised to the sky, emblazoned with "Chou Gabai." "Jouchaku" is the iconic transformation phrase from the 1982 "Space Sheriff Gavan," but the meaning behind the gold version's phrase... well, that's still a mystery, sparking tons of fan speculation!
While only partial glimpses of Gavan's design were shown before, this video finally gives us a full, glorious reveal. The sleek design and powerful aura are definitely hyping fans up even more!
This cutting-edge trailer was shot in Toei Tokyo Studio's LED wall virtual production stage, resulting in a seriously futuristic visual style.
"Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is slated to premiere on TV Asahi in 2026. Mark your calendars, because the next wave of info is set to drop on December 25th! Fans, keep those eyes peeled for more updates!
