The iconic animal disaster franchise, "Anaconda," is set to unleash a comedic new reboot this Christmas season. As the promotional campaign nears its end, a series of individual character posters (pictured below) have been dramatically revealed. The film is helmed by Tom Gormican, director of "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent," who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kevin Etten, his writing partner on the aforementioned film. The duo aims to infuse the new "Anaconda" with the distinctive tone they established in "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent."

The star-studded cast features Thandiwe Newton, Jack Black, Paul Rudd, Ben Lawson, Steve Zahn, and Daniela Melchior, among others. The film is slated for a North American release on December 25th, Christmas Day.
This "Anaconda" reboot takes a meta-comedic approach. The story follows a group of die-hard "Anaconda" fans who, on a spontaneous impulse, decide to venture into the jungle to shoot their own remake of the film. Their ambitious project takes an unexpected turn when an accident during production leads them face-to-face with a very real, very hungry anaconda that begins to hunt them.
