Yuto Suzuki's manga, "SAKAMOTO DAYS," was announced in September to get a live-action film adaptation, starring Snow Man's Ren Meguro as Taro Sakamoto, with Yuichi Fukuda directing.
Today (12/10), the official teaser trailer dropped, finally revealing Ren Meguro's highly anticipated "Chubby Sakamoto" in action! The film is also officially slated for an April 29, 2026 release, hitting theaters during Japan's Golden Week holiday.

The teaser also gave us our first look at Aya Ueto as Aoi Sakamoto, Miyu Yoshimoto as Hana Sakamoto, and Fumiya Takahashi as Shin Asakura. But the real showstopper? Meguro Ren pulling double duty as both "Chubby Sakamoto" and "Slim Sakamoto"! The action sequences glimpsed in the trailer are already hyping us up big time.
