The first animated film from Tatsuki Fujimoto's hit manga "Chainsaw Man," titled "Chainsaw Man Reze Arc," has been absolutely crushing it at the box office everywhere! To cap off the year, it was also announced that a new anime, "Chainsaw Man Assassin Arc," is officially in the works.

Today (12/31), the official announcement dropped: "Chainsaw Man Reze Arc" has blown past the incredible 10 billion yen mark at the box office by year-end! Creator Tatsuki Fujimoto even shared a special hand-drawn thank-you illustration and message to express his gratitude to all the fans who've supported the film.

From its premiere on September 19th to December 30th, a total of 103 days, the film racked up 6.558 million admissions, officially hitting 10.01 billion yen in box office revenue. To celebrate, Fujimoto-sensei delivered this heartfelt illustration and message:

"Thank you so, so much for coming to see it! I'm still completely immersed in the afterglow."

This time, the artwork features "Denji and Reze waving goodbye at a cafe," a scene that's sure to be a dream come true for countless fans!

The main voice cast also released a thank-you video, expressing their appreciation to all the fans who championed the film, finally achieving this monumental 10 billion yen milestone. Here's what the VAs had to say:

Kikunosuke Toya (Denji)

I'm incredibly happy that so many people loved the "Reze Arc," and it truly feels like all our hard work has paid off! It should still be playing for a while, so please keep supporting it!!

Tomori Kusunoki (Makima)

I'm happy from the bottom of my heart, and I'm filled with a desire to share this joy with everyone who went to see it in theaters. Being seen by so many people is the best proof, and I'm truly, truly delighted that everyone enjoyed it.

Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa)

I gave my absolute all during recording, determined not to let down Director Yoshihara and the immense passion poured in by countless creators. I could feel that heat even then, and I vaguely sensed that "that day would surely come." Now, hearing that the box office has surpassed 10 billion yen, I'm deeply moved and incredibly happy.

Reina Ueda (Reze)

From the recording studio, I could deeply feel the production team's passion; every single detail was infused with soul and a tremendous amount of time. It truly moves me that this dedication was fully conveyed to the audience. I believe Fujimoto-sensei's wish that "the character of Reze would be remembered" has indeed come true.

"Chainsaw Man Reze Arc" is still playing in theaters across Japan. However, considering the production team's initial assessment of "we'd be grateful for 3 billion yen" before its release, this current achievement is nothing short of a massive breakthrough!
