When the globally popular "Game of Thrones" aired its final eighth season in 2019, it was a monumental event. Fans worldwide eagerly tuned in for the conclusion; however, the immense anticipation was met with equally immense disappointment. Addressing the intense backlash from the public, Kit Harington, who famously portrayed Jon Snow in the series, recently spoke with The New York Times and expressed his strong disapproval of these actions. He stated, "That really annoyed me. My feeling was, 'How dare you do this!?' I'm sorry, but that's my thought. I think this kind of utterly stupid behavior only comes out of social media." Harington went on to praise showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, asserting that they had done their absolute best.
