The legal battle between "It Ends with Us" director Justin Baldoni and lead actress/producer Blake Lively is set to escalate with a new hearing scheduled in two days. Ahead of the official proceedings, previously undisclosed court documents have been unsealed, revealing explosive new details.
Among the most attention-grabbing revelations are text messages exchanged between Lively and her close friend, Taylor Swift. The two were reportedly discussing an upcoming ">New York Times exposé containing numerous allegations against Baldoni. In one message, Swift reportedly wrote, "I think that b***h knows s**t is about to hit the fan so he’s starting to play the victim." Lively, in turn, allegedly described Baldoni to Swift as "the dumb director on my movie" and "a clown who thinks he’s a writer now."

Swift herself had a degree of involvement in the film's production, having granted Lively permission to use her songs and offering script advice. However, Baldoni previously raised concerns, reportedly questioning whether Lively sought Swift's input to assert creative dominance and leverage Swift's fame to override his own vision.
The lawsuit also includes accusations from other cast members against Baldoni. Jenny Slate (pictured right above), who plays Lively's friend in the film, alleged that Baldoni repeatedly used terms like "hot" and "sexy" to describe Lively's appearance in costume. Slate found these remarks inappropriate and uncomfortable, claiming she had warned Baldoni multiple times, but he persisted. In a text message, Slate reportedly called Baldoni a "hypocritical, narcissistic fake feminist" and an "absolute narcissistic clown."

Isabela Ferrer (pictured left above), who portrays a younger version of Lively's character, also testified. She stated her discomfort with Baldoni praising her intimate scenes as "hot," finding the term unprofessional for a workplace and unhelpful as performance direction.
Lively herself expressed significant dissatisfaction with Baldoni's conduct. She emphasized that one instance where Baldoni complimented her outfit occurred not when she first put on the costume, but specifically when she bent over, making her attire more revealing. This, she stated, made her feel humiliated and viewed through a lewd lens.
