Tatsuki Fujimoto, the mastermind behind "Chainsaw Man," struck a chord with his short manga "Look Back," which recently got an acclaimed anime film adaptation. Clocking in at under an hour, the movie captivated audiences worldwide. Late last year, it was also announced that renowned director Hirokazu Kore-eda would helm a live-action film version, slated for release in 2026.
Now, the beloved title is teaming up with Japanese designer fashion brand LAD MUSICIAN for a collection of five graphic T-shirts. These tees bring the raw power and beauty of the anime's original key animation lines directly to your wardrobe. Each shirt will retail for 12,650 JPY and will be available starting January 31, 2026, on the official website and in physical stores.

The LAD MUSICIAN x "Look Back" collaboration dives deep into Tatsuki Fujimoto's unique worldview. Scenes were meticulously selected from the theatrical anime's production materials and reimagined as stunning visual graphics for the T-shirts.
The design specifically highlights the dedication and aesthetic of Kiyotaka Oshiyama, the film's director and animation director, focusing on his distinctive "line expression." The emotionally charged lines from the original animation drawings are presented directly on the apparel.

The T-shirt graphics feature classic moments between Fujino and Kyomoto, delving into the characters' psychological states and the atmosphere of each scene. While the original animation drawings used color to differentiate lines, this collaboration intentionally renders them in monochrome to emphasize the expression and power of the lines themselves. Every stroke is a hand-drawn "living line," and its authentic, warm texture is perfectly transferred onto the fabric.
Print colors will be adjusted based on the graphic and fabric base color, with the fabric itself available in three options: black, white, and gray.
