After starring in hit romantic comedies like "You, Me and Dupree" and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," Kate Hudson has taken a hiatus from the genre. Now, Hudson is finally making her highly anticipated return to the rom-com stage, and she's set to co-star with Javier Bardem, an actor rarely seen in romantic comedies. This marks their first time sharing the big screen in a romantic pairing.

The film, titled "Hello & Paris.," will star Bardem and Hudson and is based on Deborah McKinlay's novel "That Part Was True." Elizabeth Chomko, known for directing "What They Had," will serve as both the screenwriter and director for the project.

The official synopsis reads: Following a slightly awkward first encounter in Paris, an independent and resilient landscape architect and a struggling bestselling novelist embark on a transatlantic exchange filled with sparks. Their conversations revolve around books and recipes, but ultimately, they will discover that perhaps what's harder than loneliness is the courage to choose not to be alone.
