The "Evil Dead" franchise, produced under the watchful eye of series creator Sam Raimi, is set to release its sixth film, "Evil Dead Burn," on July 24 this year. However, even before its debut, Raimi already has a seventh installment preparing to shoot. The Screen Guild of New Zealand recently announced on its website that "Evil Dead 7" will be titled "Evil Dead: Wrath" and is slated to begin production this month.

"Evil Dead: Wrath" will be directed by Francis Galluppi, known for "The Last Stop in Yuma County." The cast includes Charlotte Hope, Ella Newton, and Ella Oliphant. Lee Cronin, who helmed the fifth installment, "Evil Dead Rise," will return as an executive producer, joining Raimi and original franchise lead Bruce Campbell. Plot details for both the sixth and seventh films remain under wraps, and a release date for the seventh installment has not yet been set.
