Kanebo Cosmetics' trendy open-shelf makeup brand, KATE, just dropped a bombshell announcement on March 2! They're teaming up with the legendary tokusatsu franchise "Kamen Rider" and media giant WWDJAPAN for an epic collaboration. And who better to star in their original short film, "HENSHIN THE FIRST," than Amane Fujioka, the second daughter of Hiroshi Fujioka, the original Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider 1 himself?
This groundbreaking partnership aims to fuse "makeup × hero × fashion" into one, sparking an unprecedented new cultural style!

As we've reported before, Amane Fujioka, the 20-year-old second daughter of Hiroshi Fujioka, previously starred as Nayuta Mikazuki in the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club's (TTFC) grand finale of the "Girls Remix" series, "Kamen Rider AINS with Girls Remix." The biggest reveal from this collaboration is KATE's original short film, "HENSHIN THE FIRST." It introduces a brand-new female Kamen Rider 1—"Kamen Rider AINS"—and uses an original storyline to embody KATE's core brand philosophy: "NO MORE RULES."
This marks Kamen Rider's first-ever special video project with a makeup brand, making it an absolutely wild crossover! Plus, Japanese rock band I Don't Like Mondays. even crafted a brand-new song specifically for the film, pumping up the emotional intensity of the entire world.

The core concept behind this collaboration? "Strength, Beauty, and HENSHIN (Transformation)!"
KATE's wildly popular "Lip Monster" product symbolizes unleashing inner desires, helping people rediscover their confidence and courage. It's not just about looking good on the outside; it's about a complete inner metamorphosis. Just like Kamen Riders transform to face challenges and constantly push their limits, makeup can be the switch that breaks self-imposed boundaries and inspires new beginnings. This project perfectly blends KATE's brand philosophy with the Kamen Rider universe, daring to express it in a totally fresh way.

This KATE x "Kamen Rider" team-up isn't just a simple collaboration; it's an ambitious visual fusion of "makeup × fashion × culture." It's clear that the buzz around female Kamen Riders has opened doors for the beauty industry to help sculpt a whole new look for tokusatsu.
