Robert Pattinson's second outing as the Caped Crusader in "The Batman - Part 2" has already enlisted two Marvel stars: Scarlett Johansson, known for her role as Black Widow, and Sebastian Stan, who played the Winter Soldier. Johansson is reportedly set to portray Harvey Dent, while Stan will take on the role of Gilda Gold, Harvey's wife. However, the crucial role of Harvey's father, Christopher Dent, remains uncast.

Previous reports suggested that "The Batman - Part 2," which is expected to center on the Dent family, had approached Brad Pitt and Stellan Skarsgård for the part of Christopher Dent, though neither deal materialized.

Recently, entertainment outlet Giant Freakin Robot indicated that the production is now in talks with former "James Bond" star Daniel Craig. Should Craig decline the offer, the next actor on the wishlist is reportedly Liam Neeson, who famously played Ra's al Ghul in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" trilogy. With "The Batman - Part 2" slated to begin filming in late May, an official casting announcement is anticipated soon.
