Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga "Chainsaw Man" saw its theatrical release, "Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc," last year reignite massive buzz, especially with its box office smashing past the 10 billion yen mark, showcasing the arc's undeniable charm.
But now, for the manga itself, the official word is out: "Chainsaw Man" Part 2, the "Academy Arc," is gearing up for its grand finale! The announcement came on the last page of the latest chapter, updated on March 11, revealing that the final chapter is set to drop on the Shonen Jump+ manga app on March 25. That means we're down to just one more chapter!
The "Academy Arc" of "Chainsaw Man," which kicked off its serialization in July 2022, is finally drawing to a close after a wild 3 years and 8 months. Interestingly, there was only about a year and a half break between it and Part 1, the "Public Safety Arc."
And to celebrate, Shonen Jump+'s homepage is shouting it out: "Chainsaw Man Part 2 Finale Commemoration!! 49 Chapters Available for Free!" As part of the grand finale event, the first 49 chapters of Part 2 are now free to read.
While the "Academy Arc" might not have generated quite the same level of buzz as Part 1's "Public Safety Arc," it's still a huge moment. What's next for Tatsuki Fujimoto and the "Chainsaw Man" series after this finale? Only time will tell if he decides to pick up the pen again for more devilish adventures!
