Kenshi Yonezu absolutely crushed it at this year's 40th Japan Gold Disc Awards, snagging a whopping six awards and making history! He even swept all three spots for "Song of the Year by Download TOP3," becoming the first artist ever to achieve such a feat at the Gold Disc Awards.

Yonezu's performance at this year's Gold Disc Awards was stellar across multiple categories. In the streaming division, his "Chainsaw Man Reze Arc" theme song, "IRIS OUT," scored two major wins:

The top prize for "Song of the Year (Streaming / Japanese)" and a spot on the "Best 5 Streaming Songs" list.

And in the download category, "Plazma," the opening theme for "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," also snagged the highest honor: "Song of the Year (Download / Japanese)."

But here's the kicker: for the "Song of the Year by Download TOP3" award, Kenshi Yonezu's tracks "IRIS OUT," "Plazma," and "BOW AND ARROW" completely dominated, taking all three winning spots!
