The first trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," released last Wednesday, ignited a global sensation online, quickly garnering over 718 million views within 24 hours and setting a new record for the highest-viewed film and video game trailer in history.
Within just eight hours of its release, global views had already exceeded 373 million. This monumental achievement surpassed the previous record held by "Deadpool and Wolverine," which achieved 365 million views in 24 hours. In the gaming world, it also broke the record previously held by "Grand Theft Auto VI," which amassed 475 million views across all platforms in 24 hours.
But "Brand New Day" didn't stop there. Foreign media outlet Variety recently reported that the trailer soared past 1 billion views in just four days. Currently, the trailer's global view count stands at 1.1 billion, solidifying its position as the highest-viewed film trailer in history. This marks a significant increase compared to its predecessor, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which accumulated 355 million views in 24 hours, undoubtedly signaling another massive box office success.
