Another wave of leaks has hit Capcom's popular fighting game, "Street Fighter 6." Word on the street is that "Final Fantasy VII" icon Tifa Lockhart might be joining the roster as a guest character in Season 4, sending the player community into a frenzy. While Capcom hasn't officially confirmed anything, the rumor mill is churning extra hard because the source has a pretty solid track record.

The intel reportedly dropped in a now-deleted Reddit post. The user claimed Season 4 would bring back M. Bison and Gouken, along with "Final Fight"'s Mike Haggar, but Tifa was the real showstopper, igniting massive crossover speculation.
What makes this leak spicy is that the same leaker previously nailed the Season 2 DLC lineup, including Terry Bogard, Elena, and M. Bison. That's a serious credibility boost! However, some are playing devil's advocate, suggesting this could be a clever misdirection from Capcom to throw off dataminers.
"Street Fighter 6" has been a knockout since launch, and Capcom has kept the hype train rolling with consistent Season Pass content and events. Season 3 mixed things up with returning favorites and the mysterious Ingrid, further expanding the game's lore. Capcom has also been increasingly open to cross-IP collaborations, like introducing SNK characters in Season 2, signaling a shift in their strategy.
Meanwhile, Tifa has been a perennial rumor for "Tekken 8" for ages, but it's never actually happened. If this "Street Fighter 6" rumor turns out to be true, expect a massive wave of comparisons and discussions aimed at Bandai Namco. "Tekken 8" has already partially revealed its Season 3 character plans, making any major new additions unlikely in the near future.
Beyond that, the Capcom-SNK bromance has been heating up, with characters crossing over and content collaborations strengthening their bond. This has reignited whispers about a potential new "Capcom vs SNK" title.
