As one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most popular and longest-running antagonists, Loki has famously faked his death multiple times, narrowly escaped demise, and even had alternate timeline variants step in after his apparent end. Even with the upcoming "Avengers: Doomsday," Tom Hiddleston, who portrays Loki, is confirmed to return. According to the latest reports, "Doomsday" will still not mark the end of Loki's journey in the MCU.

Prominent entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello recently posted that Hiddleston is slated to continue his role in "Avengers 6: Secret Wars." This suggests Loki might not meet his end in the fifth installment, surviving at least until the sixth. However, it doesn't rule out the possibility of him dying in the fifth film and appearing in "Secret Wars" via flashbacks, or another variant from a different universe taking his place.
Fans are also speculating that Marvel intends for Loki to replace the character of Molecule Man from the original "Secret Wars" comic storyline. This theory suggests that the major villain, Doctor Doom, might spare Loki in the fifth film and use him as an energy source to create "Battleworld."
