PS Store Reveals "GTA 6" Global Unlock Times; Rumors Swirl of Six Pre-Order Editions, PS5 Bundles

Grand Theft Auto VI continues to dominate player discussions. Following reports that US retailer Best Buy may have inadvertently leaked the "GTA 6" pre-order launch date via an affiliate marketing email, PlayStation Store pages across various regions have now begun displaying regional unlock times for "GTA VI," allowing players to compare actual play availability worldwide.

According to the times displayed on the PS Store pages, some regional listings indicate an unlock time of November 19, 2026, at 12:00 AM local time. Other regional pages have also surfaced with corresponding times, including New Zealand and US pages showing November 18, 2026, at 7:00 PM EST, and Japan's page listing November 18, 2026, at 11:00 PM JST.

While these times originate from official PlayStation Store pages and could still be subject to change due to regional policies or platform adjustments, they nonetheless suggest that Sony has a definitive release schedule in place. For players concerned about another potential delay for "GTA VI," the appearance of regional unlock information serves as a strong indicator that launch preparations are steadily moving forward.

Meanwhile, a prominent leaker recently claimed on X (formerly Twitter) to have acquired details regarding "GTA VI"'s pricing, bundles, and pre-order structure, though they refrained from disclosing full prices to avoid potential market impact.

The leaker indicated that "GTA VI" pre-orders would offer six distinct purchase options. These reportedly include three standard digital/physical editions, one less common version featuring additional content, and two console bundles tied to the PlayStation 5 standard and PS5 Pro models, respectively. The bundles are said to contain only digital download codes, without a physical disc.

Dexerto also compiled these claims, noting that DetectiveSeeds had previously suggested pre-orders could commence the week of May 18, with some editions potentially offering early access. However, Rockstar Games, Take-Two, and PlayStation have yet to officially announce any pre-order editions, pricing, or console bundle details, meaning these claims should still be treated as unconfirmed rumors.
