A new batch of promotional art for "Daredevil: Born Again" has been released, and one of the biggest highlights is the first official look at Marvin Jones III as the villain Tombstone.
Aside from some low-resolution leaked set photos, the character's appearance has been kept tightly under wraps. This debut in official promotional material has fueled speculation about his role in the series.

Many fans now speculate that Tombstone could be one of the primary antagonists in "Daredevil: Born Again," potentially filling the power vacuum left in New York's criminal underworld by Wilson Fisk's Kingpin.
While Tombstone was once considered a B-list Spider-Man villain, his profile has been significantly elevated in recent comics. Notably, in Zeb Wells' run on "The Amazing Spider-Man," Tombstone became a central figure who repeatedly pushed Peter Parker to his limits.
In addition to Tombstone, the new art also showcases Spider-Man battling Scorpion. The design of Scorpion's tail appears similar to Mac Gargan's classic look, though it's possible he'll sport different suits in the series. Another piece depicts Spider-Man taking on both Tarantula and Boomerang, further expanding the scope of the show's street-level crime storyline.

Notably, other recently revealed materials also suggest The Hand will play a significant role. Given the organization's deep ties to Daredevil, this has led to theories that "Daredevil: Born Again" will further connect Marvel's New York street-level heroes.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Empire Online, Charlie Cox discussed potential plot points for "Daredevil: Born Again," including the idea of Matt Murdock's identity being publicly exposed and his subsequent imprisonment. Cox noted that while he supports bold storytelling, he believes such a development would be difficult to walk back in a grounded series.
