SEIKO x Fullmetal Alchemist Collaboration Watch: Edward Elric & Flamel Cross Theme!

Japanese watchmaking giant SEIKO has a stellar track record of teaming up with popular anime, comic, and game (ACG) IPs to drop some seriously coveted timepieces, much to the delight of fans.

Now, they're back at it, announcing an epic collaboration with Hiromu Arakawa's beloved classic, Fullmetal Alchemist! This new watch is designed with protagonist Edward Elric in mind and is now available for pre-order on Japanese anime e-commerce platform AMNIBUS for 65,780 JPY.

This special edition watch features Edward's iconic red alchemic transmutation circle as its central design, set against a sleek black dial. It's further accented by the unmistakable "Flamel Cross" emblem, perfectly capturing Ed's signature style and the rich world of the series.

Each hour marker on the dial takes inspiration from the screws of Edward's automail right arm, crafted as intricate three-dimensional parts. For enhanced visibility in the dark, the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions are equipped with luminous paint. Plus, the small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock proudly displays the Amestris military emblem, condensing the entire Fullmetal Alchemist universe into every meticulous detail.

But what truly tugs at the heartstrings of fans is the case back design. It's engraved with that legendary phrase from Edward's silver State Alchemist pocket watch: "Don't forget 3. OCT. 11." This powerful line, symbolizing the Elric brothers' unwavering resolve and determination, makes this timepiece an even more significant collector's item.

The dedicated collector's box is equally impressive! It's wrapped in a deep crimson paper, reminiscent of Edward's iconic red coat. The lid features a matte gold foil print of the "Flamel Cross," the ultimate proof of a State Alchemist. It also includes the English version of another famous line: "Stand up and walk. You have two perfectly good legs, don't you?"

The box itself is designed for display, allowing you to showcase the watch directly. Inside, you'll find both the EDWARD ELRIC and SEIKO logos engraved, exuding a premium feel and highlighting the unique commemorative value of this collaboration.
