Chinese figure brand AniGame has announced its latest release from the popular mobile game "Azur Lane": the I-404 Be Splendid, Crimson Dance Ver. 1/6 Scale Figure. Priced at 27,500 JPY, the figure is slated for release in July 2027.
A member of the Sakura Empire faction, I-404 is based on the Imperial Japanese Navy's unfinished I-400 class submarine, the fourth vessel in her class. In "Azur Lane," she is depicted as a powerful, high-profile, and confident submarine aircraft carrier who adores luxury, high-class aesthetics, and conquest. She boasts of being the world's largest and most magnificent underwater submarine, a warrior dancing amidst water dragons—and, quite literally, the strongest submarine because she was never fully completed in history.
The "I-404 Be Splendid, Crimson Dance Ver. 1/6 Scale Figure" stands approximately 260 mm tall and features a unique suspended display method. It perfectly captures the stunning, dynamic dance pose from her "Be Splendid, Crimson Dance" (華やかなれ、紅緒の舞) skin, which appeared in the S.P. event story "Turmoil in the Ninja Castle." The ropes wrapped around her body are crafted from PVC and integrated with the main figure, while additional braided ropes are included for collectors to suspend I-404, creating a truly eye-catching, gravity-defying display. This distinctive mechanical suspension design allows for a beautiful floating aesthetic when properly hung, but collectors should exercise caution to prevent external forces from causing damage.
Additionally, an "Exclusive Display Case Set" will be available (priced at 35,200 JPY), allowing collectors to recreate the in-game scene and atmosphere more authentically.
