Ryoko Kui's hit manga, "Delicious in Dungeon," captivated fans with its unique blend of classic fantasy and dungeon-crawling culinary adventures when it first hit screens as an anime.
Now, get ready for more! It was just announced today (July 5) at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles that Season 2 is officially set to premiere in October 2027. A brand-new teaser visual has dropped, and fans can expect the new season to hit Netflix and other major streaming platforms.
The newly released visual offers a glimpse of the chimera-fied Falin, along with Thistle, the Mad Sorcerer, who controls her. Meanwhile, Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, Senshi, and Izutsumi are pushing deeper into the dungeon, determined to rescue Falin and confront the most pivotal battle of their journey.
But that's not all the news! The popular web radio show, "Delicious in Dungeon ~Dungeon Exploration Radio~," which garnered rave reviews during the first season's run, is also making a comeback! A brand-new episode is slated to air on July 5 at 9 PM JST.
Voice actors Kentaro Kumagai (Laios) and Sayaka Senbongi (Marcille) will return as hosts. They'll be dishing out the latest "Delicious in Dungeon" Season 2 updates while sampling dishes inspired by the anime's unique "monster cuisine." Expect fan-favorite segments alongside exciting new content. The show is currently accepting listener mail, so get those messages ready!
While the announcement for Season 2 dropped way back in 2024, the wait until October 2027 might feel like an eternity for fans. But given Studio TRIGGER's stellar reputation for top-notch animation, this epic wait will undoubtedly be worth it!
