Sideshow Collectibles, the renowned US collectibles manufacturer, has partnered with Game Science, the developer of "Black Myth: Wukong," to officially launch the "Destined One Yaksa King's Flame-Resistant Set 1/12 Scale Collectible Figure." Pre-orders are now open, with an estimated release window of September to November 2026, priced at $99.99 USD.
"Black Myth: Wukong" is an action role-playing game developed by Chinese independent studio Game Science, launched in August 2024. Inspired by the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West," players embody the "Destined One" on a journey to seek the Six Roots. Upon its release, the game quickly shattered multiple records, becoming the first Asian game to surpass two million concurrent players on Steam and generating significant buzz among global gamers.
This 1/12 scale figure brings the Destined One to life, clad in the Yaksa King's Flame-Resistant Set. Standing approximately 19.5cm tall, the figure meticulously recreates the intricate patterns and layered textures of each armor piece. It also includes an alternate head sculpt, allowing collectors to display the character with or without the mask.
The figure comes with an exclusive pre-order bonus: a "Destined One Bronze Ring." The ring is US size 8 (approximately 58mm inner circumference) and stands out as one of the most anticipated collector's highlights of this pre-order.
Also available for pre-order in the same series is the "Yaksa King 1/12 Scale Collectible Figure" ($99.99 USD). Displaying both figures side-by-side allows fans to recreate the epic confrontation between the Destined One and the Yaksa King, with each figure also including a limited bronze ring.
