Following last week's reveals of the Iron Man Mark VII (Chrome Plated Exoskeleton Transparent Version) and Spider-Man from "Spider-Man: Homecoming", renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has announced its second wave of exclusive pre-sale items for Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) 2026! Among them is the 1/6th scale collectible figure of "Bio Rider" from the tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider Black RX", which will be available for pre-sale with a limited run of 350 units at ACGHK 2026, running from July 24 to 28, 2026. Hot Toys also revealed release information for the Kamen Rider Black RX, Robo Rider, and the Acrobatter motorcycle!
Bio Rider first appeared in Episode 17 of "Kamen Rider Black RX". This form was born when Kotaro Minami, trapped in an underground prison and enraged by his inability to save his loved ones, resonated with water. Calling himself "The Prince of Anger," Bio Rider possesses less raw power but boasts superior agility. He can also transform into a liquid state, rendering him immune to physical attacks. His signature weapon, the Bio Blade, can absorb and reflect enemy energy attacks.
Standing approximately 31 cm tall, the "Bio Rider 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure" features over 30 points of articulation. Its armor is crafted from multi-layered silkscreened high-elastic fabric, predominantly in red, blue, and silver, perfectly recreating Bio Rider's sleek, streamlined physique. Both the eyes and belt are equipped with light-up functions. His iconic weapon, the "Bio Blade," also boasts a light-up feature and comes with three distinct blade attachments: a silver version, a translucent blue version, and a dynamic liquid-flow effect version to capture the moment of a strike. The light-up mechanism in the hilt allows for the recreation of his finisher, the "Spark Cutter"! With five pairs of intricately sculpted interchangeable hands, collectors can pose Bio Rider in a variety of heroic stances. This figure also includes a specially designed display stand with the character's emblem.
