Chinese action figure brand SexyIce has unveiled the prototype for the latest addition to its original sci-fi series, "VERMIN"—the "UNKVAL Ambusher Type 2 (アンブッシヤー)" action figure. Pre-orders are slated to open on July 22, 2026, with a release scheduled for November 2026. Pricing details will be announced soon.
The "VERMIN" series is SexyIce's original action figure line, set within a fictional sci-fi universe. It centers around the design of humanoid bio-weapons known as "UNKVAL." The series' lore details these units as non-sentient humanoid combat weapons, created by the future human organization EAE through experimental sample modification. Each UNKVAL is equipped with a neural synchronization combat system, allowing operators to remotely control them via neural-link combat devices. This humanoid form enables them to unleash the full combat potential of both melee weapons and firearms.
The new "Ambusher Type 2" is the second assault model released, following the "Smasher Type 1". Designed with stealth and surprise attacks as its core tactical concept, it features distinct styling and weapon loadouts compared to its predecessor. SexyIce's "VERMIN" series is renowned for its 1/12 scale, high articulation, and intricate paint applications, having established a strong fanbase among action figure collectors in both Western and Asian markets.
