M.I.C. Co., Ltd.'s original toy brand "DIG" has officially announced a new addition to its "DIGSTA" series: a pre-painted figure of Nijika Ijichi from the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!". This highly anticipated collectible will retail for 12,100 JPY and is scheduled for release on December 31, 2026!
As the drummer of Kessoku Band, Nijika Ijichi is known for her incredible empathy and caring nature towards her bandmates. She was the pivotal character who first invited Hitori "Bocchi" Gotoh to join the group. Her endearing personality and character design have earned her the affectionate title of "National Wife" among fans. However, her almost *too* perfect persona has also sparked humorous and outlandish fan theories, such as Nijika secretly having a boyfriend or even smoking!
This DIGSTA Nijika Ijichi figure stands approximately 17.5 cm tall. Like the previously released Bocchi figure, it captures Nijika in her adorable maid outfit from the Shuka High School Cultural Festival in episode 11 of the anime. The figure perfectly renders her winking expression after changing into the costume, with intricate wrinkle details faithfully sculpted into the maid dress. The polka dots on her chest bow are meticulously painted, and her signature yellow ponytail is crafted from a clear, colored material, allowing for a beautiful translucent effect when light passes through it. As an exclusive bonus, pre-orders placed directly through the official website will include an interchangeable face part featuring a blank, "deadpan" expression, offering even more dynamic display options. This release is perfect for pairing with the previously available Bocchi figure and builds even more excitement for the eventual debuts of Ryo and Kita!
