Japanese model manufacturer MegaHouse has announced the latest addition to its "Realistic Model Series G Structure" line of Gundam diorama models: the "Heliopolis Battle Stage (Material Color Edition)" from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", slated for release in February 2027.

The diorama's theme, "Heliopolis," is the neutral Orb Union space colony where protagonist Kira Yamato and others lived at the beginning of the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" anime. While its inhabitants enjoyed peaceful lives, the semi-nationalized military-industrial company Morgenroete, Inc. and the Atlantic Federation secretly constructed five GAT-X series Mobile Suits, known as "Gundams," there. This made Heliopolis a primary target for ZAFT forces, transforming it into a perilous battlefield overnight. Four of the five Gundams, excluding the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, were seized by ZAFT.

The "Realistic Model Series G Structure Heliopolis Battle Stage (Material Color Edition)" recreates a corner of the war-torn Heliopolis, measuring approximately 175mm in height and 240mm in width. It's perfectly scaled to display alongside Bandai's 1/144 scale Gunpla kits. All parts are presented in unpainted molded plastic, allowing for free customization and painting on the highly detailed components. The set also includes stickers featuring various warning and instructional markings to enhance the diorama's realism.
