Premium Chinese statue maker HEX Collectibles is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the classic manga "Fist of the North Star" with a new officially licensed release: the Kenshiro 1/6 Scale Statue. Priced at $705, the statue is scheduled for release in September 2027.
Created by writer Buronson and artist Tetsuo Hara, "Fist of the North Star" takes place near the end of the 20th century, after nuclear war has reduced the world to a barren wasteland. With survivors turning to violence over dwindling resources and brute strength ruling the land, a man named Kenshiro emerges. Master of the ancient assassination art Hokuto Shinken, he becomes the savior of the post-apocalyptic age.
The Kenshiro 1/6 Scale Statue measures approximately 43 cm tall, 43 cm wide, and 31 cm deep. The sculpt captures his iconic appearance in a commanding stance, with sharply defined musculature and intricate folds across his signature blue outfit. Its open front reveals the seven scars on his chest, while finely rendered textures and subtle weathering give the entire piece a rich, layered finish.
The base features the twisted wreckage of a battered motorcycle as Kenshiro towers over a defeated thug below. Translucent blood effects recreate the gruesome moment the enemy's body erupts after being struck by Kenshiro's Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken. Warped motorcycle parts, weathered metal surfaces, and scattered debris complete the diorama, perfectly capturing the brutal post-apocalyptic world of "Fist of the North Star."
