Chinese collectibles maker SNAIL SHELL STUDIO is launching its new plastic model kit line, SHELLWORKS, with the debut release ARKFRAME A-07 Anubis. The 1/48 scale articulated model kit is priced at 99 yuan and scheduled for release in March 2027.
A-07 Anubis is a seventh-generation tactical humanoid weapon developed by O.R.I.G.I.N. as part of its "Oracle" series. Piloted by a mysterious female elf, this white jackal-inspired machine reemerged 20 years after O.R.I.G.I.N. vanished. Equipped with performance far beyond current technology, it crosses the battlefield as an independent third party aligned with no known faction.
The ARKFRAME A-07 Anubis 1/48 scale articulated model kit stands approximately 6.3 inches tall and consists of 287 parts across 16 runners, including clear and prepainted components. Its white-and-gold color scheme can be further detailed with the two included sheets of water-slide decals. A fully articulated inner frame beneath the outer armor delivers an impressive range of motion, while interchangeable parts allow the face to switch between covered and fully open configurations. The cockpit features a linked opening mechanism and can accommodate the included seated pilot figure, while a second pilot figure in a standing pose is also included. Accessories include a pair of interchangeable open hands and a dedicated display base that opens for accessory storage. Its extensive close-combat arsenal features the KHERU heavy-armament greatsword, the MA'AT sword-shield, the removable SESHAT beam sword stored inside the shield, and the short FEATHER blade. As the first release in the SHELLWORKS lineup, A-07 Anubis has collectors eager to see both the building experience and where this new model kit series goes next.
