Kotobukiya’s Magic Knight Rayearth Umi Ryuuzaki 1/7 Scale Figure Brings the 2026 Anime Design to Life

Japanese figure manufacturer Kotobukiya has unveiled its latest release from the "Magic Knight Rayearth" anime: the Umi Ryuuzaki 1/7 Scale Figure, scheduled to launch in June 2027.

One of the series’ three heroines, Umi Ryuuzaki is a 14-year-old middle school student who attends an elite girls’ academy. Although she is a striking beauty with a tall, graceful build, her outspoken personality offers quite a contrast—Umi never hesitates to show exactly how she feels. During a school trip to Tokyo Tower, she and fellow students Hikaru Shidou and Fuu Hououji are unexpectedly summoned to the otherworldly realm of Cefiro and tasked with saving Princess Emeraude and the entire world. Under Clef’s guidance, Umi learns to wield water magic. After completing her trial at a temple beneath the sea, she gains the power to fight alongside the water-aligned Rune-God Selece.

The Umi Ryuuzaki 1/7 Scale Figure is based on her updated character design from the anime remake, recreating the new equipment she receives after arriving in Cefiro. Standing approximately 10.2 inches tall, the figure captures Umi wielding her rapier and staring ahead with a fierce, determined expression, balancing her natural elegance with a commanding heroic presence. Her flowing aqua-blue hair and billowing uniform skirt are sculpted with plenty of dynamic movement. The display base completes the battle-ready presentation with swirling water effects rendered in gradient-colored translucent parts.
