Kotobukiya's slice-of-life bishoujo model kit series Sousai Shojo Teien, created in collaboration with illustrator En Morikura, has unveiled its latest release: "AFTER SCHOOL Kuon's Actor Prop Set 2," scheduled to launch in April 2027.
"Sousai Shojo Teien" is a line of 1/10-scale model kits developed by Kotobukiya and popular Japanese illustrator En Morikura. Built around everyday high school girls with distinctive personalities, the series focuses on five core concepts: creating, painting, decorating, swapping, and collecting. Builders can mix and match hairstyles, expressions, accessories, and pose-specific parts to create their ideal character. Separately sold "AFTER SCHOOL" environment accessories can also be added to recreate scenes from the girls' daily lives after class.
Launching alongside "Kuon Yakushiji [Chinese-Style Outfit]," "AFTER SCHOOL Kuon's Actor Prop Set 2" includes 23 pieces in total. The lineup features a guandao, Chinese-style chair, handgun, yo-yo, flip phone, sword dancer mask, disguised face wearing a black mask, cards, stacks of cash, a seductive expression, an eating expression, and more. The set works with separately sold versions of Kuon wearing outfits such as a qipao or sailor uniform, letting collectors stage everything from an undercover mission at a Chinese restaurant to a tense gangster thriller, suspense movie, or lighthearted school comedy.
The set also comes with water-slide decals featuring an assortment of finely detailed graphics. These can recreate text and Kuon's handwritten notes on the scripts, playing-card and MEGALOMARIA TCG designs for the cards, and the fictional "Madoka Kingdom Bills" seen in the official four-panel comic. Beyond Kuon herself, the accessories are compatible with most Sousai Shojo Teien and MEGALOMARIA UNLIMITED UNIVERSE kits, greatly expanding their display possibilities and play value.
