Japanese figure maker FuRyu has officially unveiled its new “4.5-chan” figure line, with the wildly popular Hatsune Miku leading the way. The fairy-tale-inspired “4.5-chan Hatsune Miku Wolf Ver.” painted, fully assembled figure is priced at 3,300 yen and scheduled for release in April 2027.
The new “4.5-chan” series strikes a sweet spot with its stylized 4.5-head-tall proportions, combining each character’s signature appeal with imaginative themes. The result is a familiar yet refreshing look packed into a display-friendly figure measuring approximately 6.3 inches tall. For the first release, renowned illustrator Karoku created an exclusive new design for “Hatsune Miku Wolf Ver.” that transforms Miku into the Big Bad Wolf. Wolf ears rise from her head, while an adorable fluffy tail peeks out beneath her iconic twin-tails. Her face even features a sly, scheming expression worthy of the wolf plotting to trick Little Red Riding Hood. She also pairs perfectly with the previously released “Desktop Fairy Hatsune Miku Little Red Riding Hood Ver.” figure.
