Japanese toy company Kotobukiya is bringing back its popular D-STYLE series with a classic ZOIDS reissue: the "D-STYLE BLADE LIGER 2000 -Recolor-" plastic model kit! Priced at 3,740 yen, the kit is scheduled for release in April 2027.
The returning "D-STYLE BLADE LIGER 2000 -Recolor-" has been refreshed with modern production techniques. Measuring just 13 cm long when assembled, the kit reimagines the iconic Zoid with adorable super-deformed proportions. Its molding colors have been updated to more closely match the anime, while a newly added runner recreates the on-screen color of its fangs. The kit also includes an unpainted Van Flyheight pilot figure and a bonus colorless clear head cockpit part that keeps the pilot visible.
Multiple points of articulation let the Blade Liger strike a variety of charming poses, including a seated position. Despite its compact size, the E-Shield Generator on its head can be deployed. The Laser Blades can also be displayed in their extended configuration using interchangeable parts!
