BANPRESTO, the prize figure brand from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has revealed the latest entries in its new Noir Edge Collection. Following the line's Akatsuki-themed Naruto Shippuden releases featuring “Itachi Uchiha,” “Deidara & Sasori,” and “Hidan & Kakuzu,” the series will add the “Noir Edge Collection Orochimaru & Kisame Hoshigaki” figures in March 2027!
Inspired by the atmosphere of film noir, the Noir Edge Collection uses sharp monochromatic color schemes to highlight each sculpt, accented with carefully selected colors that capture the character's identity while giving the overall presentation a sleek, modern edge.
The new “Noir Edge Collection Orochimaru & Kisame Hoshigaki” release brings the Monster of the Hidden Mist to the lineup with the massive, imposing build that makes him one of the Akatsuki's most physically intimidating members. Kisame casually rests Samehada across his shoulder, perfectly conveying his overwhelming strength. Although the figure uses a simple upright pose, finely sculpted details such as the subtle folds throughout his cloak give the stance a powerful sense of movement and presence.
Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin, appears in his rarely seen Akatsuki cloak, radiating a sinister presence. His subtly forward-leaning stance captures the character's unreadable, calculating nature. Highlights include the eerie eyes peering out from behind his long bangs, his signature restrained smile, and a meticulously sculpted expression that suggests another scheme is already in motion.
