Kotobukiya has revealed the latest release in its popular mecha-girl model kit series, Megami Device. The new "PUNI☆MOFU SHIRO MAO" plastic model kit is scheduled to launch in April 2027.
Designed by Japanese illustrator BLADE, "PUNI☆MOFU SHIRO MAO" is a color variant of "PUNI☆MOFU MAO." It uses the same petite, highly articulated Machineca Block2-S body to capture the adorable proportions of the original artwork. This edition completely revamps the color scheme with soft pink, mint green, pure white, and other pastel hues for an even fluffier look. The armor retains its extensive cat-inspired detailing, while the main weapon, the White Stamp Hammer, unleashes shock waves with each swing for added destructive power. Its hammerheads can also be mounted on both hands to activate Super White Cat Punch Mode, delivering rapid-fire strikes or launching the fists as a ranged Cat Rocket Punch attack.
Based on the previously released Mao kit, "Megami Device PUNI☆MOFU SHIRO MAO" features newly molded colors and color-correction stickers that recreate a pastel palette contrasting with PUNI☆MOFU KURO MAO, along with a fair skin tone. The cat-shaped AI mascots found on the hair accessory, tie, waist, and other areas also receive newly sculpted expressions unique to this version. BLADE created three all-new expressions for the kit, reproduced as pre-printed, pre-painted face parts: a "Fluffy Face," a "Crying Face," and an "Ehe~ Face," all distinct from the expressions included with the previous two Mao kits.
Equipping the full armor and White Stamp Hammer transforms the kit into Armed Mode. With the included articulated display stand, collectors can recreate lively, adorable hammer-swinging poses. Just as described in the character profile, the hammerheads can be detached and mounted on both hands to switch into the speed-focused Super White Cat Punch Mode. Standard 3mm connection points throughout the kit also support extensive customization, allowing builders to swap parts freely or combine them with other Kotobukiya model kit lines, including Megami Device, Frame Arms Girl, and SOUSAISHOJOTEIEN.
