Japanese gaming and entertainment company SEGA has revealed painted prototype images of the latest release in its SEGA PRIZE FIGURIZMα line, “Hatsune Miku afternoon.” Based on an original Hatsune Miku illustration by Japanese artist Icomochi, the figure was previously shown through its concept artwork and unpainted prototype. Fans can now get their first look at the complete color scheme ahead of its planned spring 2027 debut. The exact release date and dimensions have yet to be announced.
SEGA’s FIGURIZMα line previously released the “Hatsune Miku Punk!” prize figure, which gave the virtual singer a bold punk makeover. This time, Miku trades that edgy style for a sweet outfit inspired by a relaxing afternoon. Miku wears a voluminous dress covered in layered ruffles, while her signature twin-tails feature long braided sections. The sculpt translates the intricate costume details from Icomochi’s artwork into 3D, giving this version of Miku a softer, cuter presence than the personality-packed Punk! design.
