Japanese statue maker Prime 1 Studio is bringing "Godzilla Minus One" to its Life Size Bust series with the massive Godzilla (2023) collectible bust. Standing 87 centimeters tall, the piece recreates the overwhelming sight of Godzilla emerging from the ocean. Prime 1 Studio has now revealed the complete preorder details for the Bonus Version, which weighs approximately 47.7 kilograms and is limited to 200 pieces worldwide. Priced at $1,699, the bust is expected to ship between June and September 2027.
Following our earlier preview of the statue, this release draws on the design of Prime 1 Studio’s previously released full-body Godzilla diorama while shifting the focus to a towering bust that showcases the King of the Monsters himself. Intricate sculpting and paintwork bring out everything from his powerful chest and rugged skin texture to the wet sheen of his eyes. Churning ocean waves surround his waist, making it appear as though Godzilla is slowly rising from the depths. Measuring approximately 68 centimeters wide and 91 centimeters deep, this is one display piece that demands some serious advance planning.
Both the mouth and dorsal fins feature LED lighting, with translucent parts producing a blue-white glow that recreates the moment before Godzilla unleashes his atomic breath. The Bonus Version also comes with an approximately 18-centimeter-tall mini Godzilla statue based on the previously released full-body diorama, allowing collectors to display the enormous bust alongside a scaled-down version of the complete pose.
