BANDAI SPIRITS’ collectibles division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially unveiled three new Star Wars: A New Hope releases for CineToy TAMASHII, its S.H.Figuarts initiative dedicated to movies and television. Next up is the Princess Leia Organa -Movie Poster Color Ver.- action figure, priced at 9,900 yen and scheduled for release in April 2027!
Princess Leia is a fearless leader of the Rebel Alliance and a member of Alderaan’s royal family. The daughter of Anakin Skywalker—who became Darth Vader—and Padmé Amidala, she fought alongside her twin brother, Luke Skywalker, against the Galactic Empire. A skilled politician and front-line commander, Leia later rose to the rank of General and led the Resistance in its fight against the First Order.
Standing approximately 5.3 inches tall, the Princess Leia Organa -Movie Poster Color Ver.- figure partially reuses the sculpt from the earlier release, now repainted to match the iconic Star Wars: A New Hope theatrical poster. The newly sculpted face uses Tamashii Digital Coloring Technology to capture Carrie Fisher’s finely defined features, while the costume recreates the illustration’s cool white tones and adds a metallic finish to the belt.
The skirt is made from soft plastic to preserve the figure’s articulation. Accessories include an alternate smiling face, two pairs of interchangeable hands, two blasters, and an interchangeable hood. Pair Leia with the newly revealed “Luke Skywalker -Movie Poster Color Ver.-” and “Darth Vader -Movie Poster Color Ver.-” figures to recreate the striking look of the classic theatrical poster!
