Last year, Danish building-block giant LEGO announced that its LEGO Icons line would be expanding with a new Godzilla release. Previous reports claimed the set would launch on Black Friday, November 27, 2026, but detailed images of the 21375 Godzilla box have now surfaced early. The leak includes photos from every side of the packaging, along with the price, piece count, and other key details. LEGO is also reportedly planning to officially reveal the set during a livestream on November 3. However, LEGO has not yet published an official product page, so all details remain subject to change pending a formal announcement.
Earlier leaked information claimed that the set would recreate Godzilla’s appearance from the 2019 film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters". Reported features included blue dorsal plates and an interchangeable mechanism allowing builders to display either Godzilla’s Atomic Breath effect or tongue. Those details appear to match the newly leaked box images.
The dorsal plates are constructed from multiple shades of blue, while the curled tail serves as a natural-looking third support point that significantly improves stability in a standing pose. The head and neck can tilt upward at a dramatic angle, recreating the movie poster’s iconic shot of Godzilla firing his Atomic Breath into the sky. The effect uses gradient pieces transitioning from white to blue to capture the look of concentrated energy. The images also suggest articulated arms for additional posing options. With 5,360 pieces, this would be the largest LEGO Icons set to date by piece count. Once assembled, the model reportedly stands 60 centimeters tall and carries a staggering $450 price tag. It is expected to launch on Black Friday, November 27, 2026. Once again, none of these details have been officially confirmed, so collectors should wait for LEGO’s formal announcement. LEGO and Godzilla fans, would you add this massive King of the Monsters build to your collection?
